Itinerary
MDAY 1: FRANKFURT - BUCHAREST - PREDEAL
Arrival at Bucharest Airport - Otopeni, reception by the Romanian tour guide and onward journey into the mountains to Predeal .
DAY 2: PREDEAL
In the morning drive to Bran. Visit to Bran Castle , also known as Dracula's Castle. Continue to Brasov. Visit to the Black Church (largest Gothic religious building from Eastern Europe), the Town Hall Square and the small, hidden Orthodox Church from the old town. Then drive back to Predeal .
DAY 3: PREDEAL - BAZNA
In the morning drive via Brasov to Sighisoara . City tour with a visit to the Clock Tower , the house where Dracula was born and the Church on the Hill. Then drive
to Biertan. Visit to the fortified church, which was the seat of the evangelical bishops of Transylvania until the end of the 19th century. Drive via Medias to Bazna .
DAY 4: BAZNA - SIBIU - PITESTI
In the morning drive to Sibiu. City tour with a visit to the Small Ring and the Great Ring, the Bridge of Lies and the Protestant Parish Church. Then drive to Pitesti . On the way, a short stop at Cozia Monastery (one of the oldest monasteries in Romania).
DAY 5: PITESTI - BUCHAREST - FRANKFURT
Drive on the motorway to Bucharest . City tour in Bucharest with a visit to the Parliament Palace (second largest building in the world, after the Pentagon), the Patriarchal Church (seat of the Orthodox head) and the Village Museum . Then transfer to the airport, farewell to the Romanian tour guide and flight home .
