GREAT TRANSYLVANIA ROUND TRIP

Arrival at Bucharest-Otopeni airport. Reception by the Romanian guide and drive to Sibiu. On the way, a short stop at Cozia Monastery (14th century), which is located near the Red Tower Pass.

 

In the morning you drive about 12 km with the minibus. Then by bike to Sibiel, where the glass icon museum can be visited. Then drive via Orlat to Cristian. In Neppendorf (near Sibiu) the local history museum of the Landler can be visited. On the way, lunch will be served by the driver and guide.

 

In the morning you drive to the mountain farmers in Rasinari. The path leads through the Young Forest of Sibiu. After a short stop in Rasinari, you drive to Cisnadioara to visit the old fortified church. Here the group is expected by the church father with a surprise. In the afternoon you drive via Cisnadie  to Talmaciu to visit other fortified churches.

 

After leaving Sibiu, you can cycle straight away. The path leads into the Hartibaciului Valley . The most important Saxon fortified churches that you can see today are: Altina, Birgis,  Pelisor and Mosna. In the afternoon you arrive in Medias. Medias is one of the seven historical castles of the province of Transylvania.

 

Today we will visit the fortified churches in the Kokeltal. After a trip with the minibus (10 km) you can cycle in the direction of the church castle Atel. Then Dupus  and Biertan  which is the largest fortified church in Transylvania. In the afternoon you drive through Copsa Mare, Valchid (forest huts) and Hoghilag to visit Dumbraveni .

 

In the morning the fortress Sighisoara with its sights (Clock Tower, birth house of Dracula, Church on the Hill ) is visited. Then, by bike from Crit  to Meschendorf, Jibert  and Dacia. Here you are in the vicinity of the Barsei Land , one of the most famous forest areas in Transylvania. From Dacia you continue with the minibus via Brasov up to Poiana Brasov.

 

Today you drive through the middle of the Southern Carpathians. After a short drive to Rasnov you can continue cycling towards Bran Castle. This is also called “ Dracula Castle “ . In the afternoon you drive towards Predeal, the border between Transylvania and Wallachia.

 

Morning departure by minibus to Bucharest. On the way short stop in Sinaia to visit the Orthodox monastery. Then city tour in Bucharest. In the afternoon, farewell to the tour guide and flight home.
