HIKING IN THE BUCEGI MOUNTAINS

From Predeal the mountain path with the blue ribbon leads to Diham. After the Risnoave valley, go past the “Cleste” peak and continue on the mountain path that comes from the Gura Diham refuge, which is symbolized by a blue triangle. Today's hiking time is 6-7 hours. In the morning you hike for about 3 hours to the Malaiesti mountain hut. From the Glajaria valley, the mountain paths agree with those who come from Busteni and from here, over the Malaiesti saddle (1825 m), you reach the mountain hut. From the Malaiesti mountain hut, the mountain path, which is marked with a blue ribbon, continues to the Omul mountain hut (about 2 hours of hiking). On the way you can see the Postavaru mountains, the Codlea peak, as well as the whole Barsa valley from Transylvania (Transylvania). The mountain hut is built exactly on the top of the Omu mountain, at an altitude of 2505 m. The path name is a red cross. The Caraiman mountain hut has 77 beds in 2- 3- and 4-bed rooms. In the morning you hike for about 1 hour to the Babele mountain hut (2200 m) and from here downhill to the Pestera mountain hut. The mountain path is marked with a blue cross. On this path you can see the Fagaras Mountains in the west and the Ciucas Mountains in the east. The hike to the mountain hut takes about 2 hours. At the Pestera hut you are also in the lalomita valley. In the vicinity of the hut you can visit the lalomita cave and the small monastery of Pestera. In the afternoon you will arrive at the Padina refuge in an hour. (170 places in 2, 3 and 4 bed rooms) A / N / F.

 

Today you hike through the lalomita valley. The total hiking time is 4 hours to today's destination. Nevertheless, there are very nice things to see, such as the bear cave, the Bolboci reservoir, the small side valleys that flow into the reservoir. Thirst is very well taken care of today and you pass the mountain huts "Izvorul Tatarului" and "Bolboci".
