Itinerary

1st Day: Home - Bucharest - Tulcea
Arrival at the airport Bucharest - Otopeni, meeting with the Romanian guide and trip further to the capital of Romania. City tour in Bucharest visiting the Palace of the Parliament (second largest building of the world after the Pentagon), as well as also the Patriarchal Church (residence of the orthodox head of Romania). In the evening festive dinner with folklore music in the R. "Caru cu bere" (historical monument). Afterwards, boarding in the special train at the railway station Baneasa (official railway station of Romania).

2nd Day: Danube delta
In the morning arrival in Tulcea, the gate of the Danubedelta. After the breakfast in the train, boarding on the excursion boats. Trip by the ship on the main channel up to channel of the mile 36 and from there along the close canals of the Danubedelta up to pelican reservat of the Fortuna-lake, as well as also to the Nebunu-lake. Lunch on board of the ship in the Danubedelta. In the evening return to Tulcea and boarding on the special train. Dinner in the train. Departure to Campulung Moldovenesc

3rd Day: Monasteries round trip
In the morning, after the breakfast in the train, boarding in the bus which is waiting at the railway station Campulung Moldovenesc. Trip to the Moldavian monasteries. The first stop is at the Moldovita monastery, which is world known due to its outer wall paintings. Afterwards trip over the Obcina mountain to the Sucevita monastery. Here we can see on the outern wall paintings scenes from the history of the Romanian people, as well as also scenes from the Bible. Afterwards visit of the ceramic centre from Marginea, where the black ceramic from Romania is produced. Lunche in Radauti. In the afternoon we'll visit the Humor monastery, as well as the Voronet monastery, which is also known as the "Capella Sixtina" of Romania. Here one can see a beautiful representation of the "Youngest Court". Afterwards trip to Campulung Moldovenesc and visit of the wood museum of the Bucovina. Boarding Entrance in the special train in Vatra Dornei and dinner in the train restaurant. Trip in to Sighetu Marmatiei.

4th Day: Wooden churches
In the morning, after the breakfast in the train, exit in Sighetu Marmatiei and departure by bus to the most important wooden churches from the Iza-Valley. Here we'll visit the wooden churches from Ieud, Rozavlea and Bogdan Voda. After lunch we'll drive on to the "merry churchyard " from Sapanta. Here one can read on every gravestone a funny poem about the dead. So the people from this region laugh about the death. In the evening trip back to Sighetu Marmatiei, dinner in the special train and trip further to Sighisoara.

5th Day: Castle churches
In the morning, after the breakfast in the train, we'll visit of the old town of Sighisoara, which is also known as Rothenburg of Romania. Here one can visit the Clock tower, the birthplace of the count Dracula, as well as also Church from the hill. Afterwards trip to Medias and visit of the Margareth church with its biggest winged altar Romania. After lunch trip to Biertan and visit of the biggest church castle from Transylvania. Here was the residence of the evangelic bishops until the end of the 19th century. Dinner in the special train and trip further to Sibiu.

6th Day: Sibiu
In the morning, after the breakfast in the special train, visit of the steam locomotive museum from Sibiu. Afterwards city tour in Sibiu, visiting the large and the little ring, the Bridge of Lies, the evangelic church, as well as also of the Bruckenthal museum. After lunch, we'll take a walk in the village museum from the "Young Forest". In the evening visit of the glass icon museum from Sibiel and afterwards merry dinner at home at the farmers. Return to the special train and departure to Brasov.

7th Day: Brasov
In the morning, after the breakfast, departure by bus to the Saxon church castles from the northern part of Brasov. The church castles from Harman and Prejmer have defended for centuries the biggest city of Transylvania from the plundering raids of the Turks. Afterwards city tour in Brasov, visiting the Black Church ( the biggest Gothic sacral building of Eastern Europe), the Old town hall, as well as also the orthodox church from the old town. Lunche in the knight\'s castle (R."Cetate"). In the afternoon visit of the Bran castle, which is also known as Dracula castle. In the evening festive dinner with folclore music in the R. "Cabana trei brazi" from Predeal. Afterwards boarding in the train and trip to Bucharest.

8th Day: Bucharest - home
In the morning after the breakfast, boarding with the luggage in the bus and second part of the Bucharest city tour. We'll visit the Village Museum, as well as also the old town of the capital of Romania. After lunch transfer to the airport Bucharest - Otopeni, farewell from the Romanian guide and home flight.
